It is important to fight the tiger mosquito because it is aggressive, but also because it is a potential carrier of viruses of serious tropical diseases, should cases occur at our latitudes. The City of Lugano has been committed for years with preventive actions on public land and has reinforced the dedicated staff to act in all neighborhoods every day until October. The collaboration of the citizens is, however, fundamental in private properties. A communication of the City and a small brochure will therefore be delivered to all the fires of Lugano between Thursday 6 and Friday, May 7, 2021 to invite the population to do its part.
