Common day of mobilization against the tiger mosquito throughout the Lake Geneva region

June 1, 2021 is the symbolic day to spread the same message of prevention and awareness of the arrival of the tiger mosquito in the cantons of Geneva, Valais and Vaud as well as in the departments of Ain and Haute-Savoie. At the beginning of the summer season, the 3 million inhabitants of the Lake Geneva basin are called upon to adopt the same good habits.

This unprecedented cross-border collaboration reflects a nascent dynamic, under the impetus of the Council of Lake Geneva and more particularly its Environment Commission, between the actors in charge of this issue for a sharing of experiences in terms of information and monitoring of the tiger mosquito.
